What MAHYAY is

MAHYAY (مَحْيَاي) is a free Arabic-language app for Qur'an memorisation and daily worship. It is offered as an ongoing charity: no advertising, no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, no account, and no collection of any personal data.

The interface and all content are in Arabic. This page exists for reviewers, partners and English-speaking visitors.

Features

• The complete Mushaf — all 604 pages in the Uthmani script of the King Fahd Glorious Qur'an Printing Complex, with Al-Sa'di's Tayseer al-Kareem al-Rahman tafsir shown on tapping any ayah.
• Guided memorisation and recall — repeat an ayah after a reciter, then hide the text and recite from memory.
• Memorisation plans — by ayah or by page, with a corrective plan when days are missed.
• Prayer and adhkar — Umm al-Qura prayer times and qibla computed from the device location, plus the complete Hisn al-Muslim (132 chapters) with a counter per dhikr, working offline.
• Tajweed lessons — four sequential stages with listening-based assessments.
• Three modes — for men, for women (with a dedicated section), and a simplified mode for children including a bedtime recitation timer.

Privacy

MAHYAY has no user accounts and no analytics. Preferences, plans and reading positions are stored on the device only. Location, when granted, is used on the device to compute prayer times and qibla and is never transmitted. Some features (recitation audio, adhkar audio, live broadcast links) fetch content from their original publishers, and those requests reach those publishers under their own policies.
